"We won't let settler terror destroy our future"

When Israeli settlers, who are protected by the government and the army, carry out devastating, deadly attacks across the West Bank, we get organized to demand an end to this terror.

Yesterday (28 July), we organized a protest against settler violence and brought together a coalition of organizations to say clearly that we will not accept this reality and we will not stop fighting until  the occupation ends!

Hundreds of us, Jews and Palestinians, gathered in Tel Aviv to stand shoulder to shoulder against this unbearable violence.

Our protest proved that opposition to settler terror is continuing to grow. Because the public knows that not only is it making daily life unbearable for hundreds of Palestinian communities, it’s also making every one of us less safe, destroying our future, and pushing the possibility of Israeli-Palestinian peace away.

Your support directly helps fund our protective presence work by assisting activists with all of the resources they need to get to the West Bank regularly and ensure that there’s a constant presence in communities under threat of settler terror. Our solidarity and anti-occupation work has never been more urgent — we must mobilize and organize side by side to end settler terror, end the occupation, and build real peace, equality, and justice for all.

This past weekend, four Palestinians and two Israelis were killed after a group of settlers entered the Palestinian village of Tell, seemingly to provoke local residents. Afterwards, settlers targeted multiple villages with attacks, including torching and vandalizing buildings, vehicles, and land.

Netanyahu, Ben-Gvir, and Smotrich responded to the deaths by vowing to establish new settlements in the area and calling to destroy villages. And since then, Israeli forces have raided more than a dozen towns and villages, arrested dozens of Palestinians, and enforced road closures and increased checkpoints.

Not only are we mobilizing the public to take to the streets, but we’re also standing in solidarity with communities in the West Bank fighting settler violence. Our Solidarity Guard maintains a 24/7 protective presence in communities under threat, and we’re increasing the number of protective presence activists even more.

Maintaining this work requires transportation, equipment, coordination, and committed activists who can remain on the ground. A monthly donation of any amount helps us continue organizing protests, mobilizing the public, and standing alongside communities facing settler terror.

Our movement has a role to play – we will continue growing the voice from within our society calling for an end to the occupation and a future of dignity and safety for everyone who lives here.
