Thousands rally against war in Tel Aviv

Although the march was called at only a few days’ notice, thousands of Jewish and Palestinian citizens of Israel responded to Standing Together’s call for an anti-war protest in Tel Aviv on Thursday 9 May.

The protest called for an end to the attack on Rafah, and an immediate ceasefire agreement to end the killing in Gaza and ensure the safe return of hostages.

While the march was taking place, UK Friends of Standing Together rallied in Parliament Square to show our solidarity with those protesting in Israel.
