Notts Friends of Standing Together continue Sunday vigils
The Notts chapter of UK Friends of Standing Together will hold vigils on Sunday for the next three weeks, and possibly beyond, by the Brian Clough statue, just off Old Market Square in Nottingham.
An activist from Notts FOST writes:
“We have held three vigils so far since 7 October, attracting between 50 and 105. At this crucial time, as Standing Together organises against the Israeli government’s war on Gaza, which is promoting hatred and insecurity, we thought we needed more regular visibility in the city. If in the area please join our weekly vigils on Sundays, 1pm at the Brian Clough Statue, off the Market Square.”
