Alon-Lee Green, Standing Together’s National Co-Director, says: “We’ve got important news. Despite the government trying to choke Gaza and block aid, we’ve managed to get more trucks in. […] This is thanks to our amazing nationwide campaign, which brought tens of thousands out to donate for children and residents in Gaza.
‘We’ve been to Sakhnin, Deir al-Asad, Nazareth, the Negev […] and so many other places. People opened their hearts, and their wallets, volunteering to help make a difference. We’re aiding people living under bombardment and starvation for 14 months. Yes, the government is blocking aid, but we persist. And this morning, we’ve brought in five more trucks.”
