“It’s Time” peace conference 2025, 8-9 May in Jerusalem

The “It’s Time” conference brings together a coalition of over 50 peace organisations, including Standing Together.

“IT’S TIME FOR PEACE! This May, Friends of Standing Together chapters across the world are standing in solidarity with the “It’s Time” People’s Peace Conference in Jerusalem. This coalition of brave Palestinian and Israeli peacemakers will be showing the world that a just peace, based on diplomatic resolution, is both necessary and possible. Standing Together will be headlining this event.

“After 17 months of war, more than 50,000 Palestinians and more than 1,700 Israelis have been killed. Cynical political leaders in Israel-Palestine and abroad continue to exploit this horror to further their political power. Yet after all this death and destruction, Israelis and Palestinians are no safer and no better off. We demand new leaderships that truly care for the lives of all people in the land. We know that a political resolution is the only way to ensure the safety, equality, and freedom of all Israelis and Palestinians. It’s time to stop the war. It’s time to end the occupation, to stop the ethnic cleansing in Gaza and the West Bank, and to bring all the hostages home now. It’s time for a just peace. JOIN US!”
