Protecting The Harvest (Bristol Friends of Standing Together public meeting)

Settler and army violence in the West Bank is rising! So is resistance to it from Palestinians, Israelis and internationally.

The olive harvest season is important in Palestinian culture, and the ongoing economic crisis in the West Bank makes it more of a lifeline. During the olive harvest the IDF and settlers stop Palestinians accessing their land, dig up olive trees or burn them, and regularly intimidate farmers.

In solidarity activists from across the world have been doing protective presence to stop and monitor this violence, so Palestinians can access their land and also to show solidarity against continued occupation and ethnic cleansing.

Join Bristol Friends of Standing Together to hear from members who went to the West Bank and learn what you can do to oppose occupation and ethnic cleansing.
