Green Party conference fringe meeting: Co-resistance for peace and equality

Standing Together is the largest anti-occupation movement in Israel. It is led by and organises thousands of Palestinians and Jews together. They fight against Israel’s occupation and genocidal war, for independence and full equality for Palestinians, and for peace and social, economic and environmental justice for all - and they’re growing.

They build protests, support military refusers, gather aid for Gaza, organise for higher wages and decent public services, and put their bodies in the way of violent settlers to defend Palestinians and aid convoys. They empower Palestinian activists, and campaign to turn Israelis away from their rulers and the settlers, toward solidarity with Palestinians in a shared struggle for a better future. Friends of Standing Together (FOST) groups here and around the world help and support their work, and are preparing to send teams to defend Palestinian farmers in the West Bank olive harvest. Yet some call to boycott Standing Together and UK-FOST was not allowed to hold a stall in Green Party Conference.
