“Children should not have to pay the price of this horrific war”
Standing Together’s response to recent events in the war, including the killing of children in Gaza and Majdal Shams.
We are devastated by the attack on Majdal Shams, a predominantly Druze town in the Golan Heights, which killed 12 children, and left many others wounded.
Children should not have to pay the price of this horrific war – not in Gaza, not in Kibutz Beeri, and not in Majdal Shams. Just yesterday, 15 children were killed by an Israeli airstrike in Deir Al Balah in Gaza. This ongoing cycle of death has to stop. Netanyahu is blocking the deal on the table that would end this war, bring the hostages back home safely, and prevent a full-out war with Hezbollah.
We need a deal NOW! Only a deal would stop the bloodshed, and ensure that this already horrific war does not escalate into an even-more horrible regional war, that will only bring about more death and destruction.
Last Thursday, we held our ‘Yes, Peace’ rally, where thousands of Jews and Palestinians marched the streets in Tel Aviv demanding an end to the war and a hostage release deal to stop this nightmare. We are demanding a different future – a future of peace. Yes, Peace. It won’t be easy, and it will be a long and winding road, but there is no other way to ensure freedom, safety, and equality for everyone.
The recent events prove that we need a completely different way – an alternative that guarantees a sustainable and long-lasting peace, and we need you. Yes, you! We need you to spread the word to your communities, we need you to join us with ongoing financial support, at any sum, to strengthen our ability to sustain the movement, and to help continue our fight! We need you to organize with other supporters in your area. Become a monthly supporter, at any sum of your choice, and join Friends of Standing Together now – join the effort to build a different future:
